Yes, it’s true. The ever-existent car problems have struck again. The Jeep is in the shop and time will tell just what is going down and how costly it will be to fix.
It’s rough to once again be in this position, after having spent the last year in and out of shops with constant repairs, especially when this Jeep is new to me. However, I have to trust (and have even seen in snippets) that the Lord is going to bring good from this, so I’m trying to fight against the inclination to be frustrated or despairing.
I am grateful to the Bean’s, who have a vehicle they’re sharing with me until this debacle gets squared away and who have come alongside me in the practical and emotional aspects to this situation.
On a lighter note, Kate spent the night over at the Bean’s Friday night! It was so good to get some one-on-one time with her and to catch up!
The Bean family, Kate, and I played a couple of games of Telestrations after a scrumptious dinner made by El. Laughter (and some tears as a result) abounded!
Saturday was fun! Kate and I went to a new-to-me coffee shop called Grounded and had their Parisian breakfast, which was made up of orange juice, coffee, a spinach and feta croissant, and a baguette with butter and jam! Yum!
We both enjoyed our individual time in the Scriptures, good food, and continued chat time!

Afterwards, we met up with Rusty, El, and Cameron on Fort Andrews to walk the base and pray for the soldiers who live and work there.

(Kate had to bounce before the picture was taken, but I promise she was there!)
Hooray for friends who love Jesus, love others, and love on me!
Friends are one of God’s greatest gifts to us
