15/24- Silver Linings

(This is what I get for getting behind on posts: things run together and I’m unable to distinguish what happened when! This is a shorter post than usual, due to my inability to remember more than what was already written within the midst of the week)

An inconvenience turned into a sweet memory Thursday.

When I went to leave for work Thursday morning, my Jeep wouldn’t start. After a few minutes of attempts, I drove a friend’s vehicle to work.

While I was at work, Matt kindly jumped my Jeep, drove it to a nearby car parts shop, and replaced my battery.

Matt used to own a Jeep Wrangler, so he was very familiar with them and took the liberty of taking the doors off. It was my first time seeing the Jeep without the doors on and I loved it!

After he took the kiddos for a drive, I and a couple of my roommates made a few loops around the neighborhood, blasting music and enjoying the lovely evening.

Saturday was bursting with fun!

Between volleyball, one of Nat’s sisters visiting, good food, and good hangs, it was a good day and a reviving weekend!
