Off to my next assignment: San Francisco!

I didn’t want Big Booty Judy to miss out on California, so my sweet mom and I are along for the ride as we trek across a chunk of our country!

Today’s travels began in Columbus, Ohio and carried us through Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and into Omaha, Nebraska! We totaled at 13 hours of travel time and were shocked at how quickly it flew!

To document our travels, we stopped at each state line and grabbed a shot of me cheesin’ it up.

We didn’t do many pitstops for exploring small monuments and museums just because we were putting in a lot of miles today, but I look forward to doing so in the future, as today was the longest we’ll be traveling for the rest of the roadtrip.

Despite the 816 miles traveled, being able to spend the evening with extended family and spending the night in the comfort of their home was such a blessing.

I will say that my brief hiatus in Ohio was so enriching. It was stuffed with family, friends, and accomplishing a whole lot of #adulting to-dos.

Something I have really appreciated about each time I go back and leave again is that my goodbyes are always so sweet. The people I leave behind are so supportive and interested in hearing about what I do. To have such a group in my corner, not only comprised of those in Ohio but also those in other states, means the absolute world.
